They carried on their grandmother's  legacy of baking treats and candies, and in 1984, Nancy Farris and Moyra Robertson opened a bakery and deli together in Edmond, Ok. They named it Mclaren's Pantry using their grandmothers name.

The fresh baked Croissants and traditional Scottish shortbread quickly won the hearts of locals. edmond fell in love with both the food and atmosphere.  Many customers came in just to listen to the sister's thick Scottish accents, which never faded, even after years in the states.

After two decades of hard work and baking, Moyra retired from Mclaren's  in 2004, Her sister had passed away five years earlier. The bakery they started is now one of the oldest independently owned shops in Edmond, and it continues to thrive as a place to connect with neighbors and friends while filling the stomach with happiness.
